Middlewich Incinerator decision is delayed

CHAIN have been informed that the decision on the planning permission for the Incinerator in Middlewich has been delayed by a few days. CHAIN have received the following letter:

Dear Sir/Madam
You will be aware that it was our intention to issue a decision on the above case by 16 July. However, I am afraid that it will be necessary to delay issuing a decision by several days. Please accept my apologies for this delay.
This e-mail has been copied to Cheshire East Council, Rule 6 parties, and those who spoke at the inquiry.

So to borrow from another well known decision process, we are waiting the puff of smoke from the chimney to tell us whether Middlewich is to be blighted with an incinerator or not.
